About Nageshikazari
Nageshikazari is an ornament used for decorating the walls of traditional Japanese rooms. It used to be often used as a decorative ornament for guest rooms called `Shoin Zukuri`, only seen in the houses of high ranking samurai. It is also used on both outside and inside of shrines and temples. This is a very important decoration to give Japanese rooms an awe-inspiring feeling.
