About Sasakanagu

Sasakanagu is used as a decorating metal for the handrails of shrines or bridges. It is a stylized bamboo leaf. Which size to choose is determined by the diameter of the handrail. For the "straight" sasakanagu that is three times the diameter of the handrail. Please pick the closest size and order it. When you apply it to your handrail, please drill a guide hole for the nails first. Do not hammer directly on the nails that come with Sasakanagu. We highly recommend using a piece of wood between the nails and a hammer, because the nails are easily damaged.
